  3. Happy Horse Equestrian Farm - Have a sunset picnic at the Happy Horse Equestrian Farm and have the kids enjoy some guided horse back riding rounds in the ring.

  1. Batchoy - A soup dish composed of sliced pork, pig's innards, and miki noodles in a flavourful broth that has been simmered for hours. This dish originated from the district of La Paz in Iloilo City but became just as well-loved in Bacolod.

  2. Chicken Inasal - Chicken marinated in a mixture of calamansi, pepper, coconut vinegar and annatto, then grilled over hot coals while basted with the marinade.

  3. Kansi / Cansi - An Ilonggo soup made with beef shanks, green jackfruit, chili peppers, and batwan, a fruit native to Western Visayas.

  4. Piaya - A muscovado-filled unleavened flatbread. Best eaten warm.

  3. Lanai by Fresh Start - A cute little fresh air restaurant that serves healthy smoothies and an assortment of veggie based meals (don't worry, they have meat too).

  3. Lizares Mansion - Noted to be the best preserved ancestral house in Bacolod. Definitely a must-visit for those who want to revisit Sugarlandia in its heyday.
