  1. Brera - A recommended area to stay in Milan.

  2. Monte Napoleone - A recommended area to stay in Milan.

  3. Porta Nuova - A recommended area to stay in Milan.

  4. Navigli - By the canals, more for younger crowd.

  5. Porta Genova - Very cool warehouse style shops and houses. Avoid anywhere too close to the Duomo, it's super crowded and touristy.

  3. Ossobuco - Delicious veal sauce with bone marrow usually served with risotto alla Milanese.

Other Notes

Milan isn't so pleasant during the summer, it is very HOT and lots of mosquitos. I would avoid July and August. Also everything is closed in August, it's a ghost town.

  1. Luini - Street food near the Duomo (a must!)

  2. Ratana - Great restaurant, must book in advance.

  3. Frangente - Just opened, its amazing! (I have a long list of places so message me if you need help!)

Packing Tips
  1. Milan is a great city as a hub, as you can drive an hour or 2 and arrive in the mountains, beaches, vineyards etc.

  2. If you're planning a trip to Milan, think about exploring outside areas as well.

  3. Pack a swimsuit and warm jackets.
