Ingredients:

  • 2 cups tinapang bangus (smoked milkfish), skin removed, finely flaked

  • 6 tbsp sour cream

  • 1 cup cream cheese

  • 1 tbsp fresh dill

  • 1/4 cup red onion, finely minced

  • 1/2 lemon, zested

  • 2 tsp lemon juice

  • 1/8 tsp white pepper

  • 1/4 tsp freshly cracked black pepper

  • 1/4 tsp salt

  • Green onions, for garnish

  • Olive oil, for sautéing and drizzling

Instructions:

  1. In a pan, sauté the bangus flakes in olive oil over medium-low heat. Sauté for a minute or so, just to heat the bangus through. Set aside and let it cool to room temperature.

  2. In a food processor, combine the bangus flakes, sour cream, cream cheese, dill, red onion, lemon zest, lemon juice, white pepper, black pepper, and salt. Blend until thoroughly combined. Transfer to a serving dish and finish with green onions on top and a drizzle of olive oil.
